Nestldown Therapeutic Riding Center is excited to provide day camps this summer for beginner to intermediate horseback riders interested in learning about horsemanship. This camp will also introduce campers to the daily operations of a horse facility, including hiking, horsecare, site upkeep, education, woodworking, gardening, foraging, and nature awareness. We are an inclusive riding center for all students and abilities. We are located on a spacious 180 acre property with gardens, hiking trails, riding facilities, and more!

We are thrilled to provide two week-long day camps this summer! Anyone is invited to join us, we are an all-inclusive riding center. We have TWO sessions this year, each are a little different, please read carefully!

 

First Session: June 22-26, 9am-2:30pm

Ages 5-10, or any rider who needs sidewalkers or lead walkers.

Riding Experience: Beginner to Intermediate

This camp will also introduce campers to the daily operations of a horse facility, including hiking, horse care, grooming, bathing, site upkeep, education, and nature awareness. We are an inclusive riding center and accept any rider who may need support, such as side walkers or horse leader. No previous riding experience is needed.

Second Session: June 29-July 3, 9am-2:30pm

Ages: 11-17

Riding Experience: Beginner to Intermediate

Is your son or daughter interested in learning about all things horses, making friends, and caring for NDTRC Herd? This camp will include many of the same activities of the first camp, but will dive a bit deeper into caring for the mind and body of our horses. We will include unmounted horsemanship activities as well, including learning “at liberty” exercises, farrier demonstrations, discovery of equine careers, and facility care.

Costs: 

Current Nestldown Riding Center students & families $400

New students/campers: $500

How To Register: 

Please email me with any questions regarding our summer camps or to secure a spot- we just need your camper’s name, age, and t-shirt size!! We require a non-refundable deposit of $100 to secure a spot in the camps, each is limited to 30 campers so sign up asap!
