Natural Horsmanship at NDTRC

Summer Camps 2019

Nestldown Therapeutic Riding Center is excited to provide day camps this summer for beginner to intermediate horseback riders interested in learning about natural horsemanship. This camp will also introduce campers to the daily operations of a horse facility, including hiking, horsecare, site upkeep, education, woodworking, gardening, foraging, and nature awareness. We are an inclusive riding center for all students and abilities, ages 5-13 years old. We are located on a spacious 180 acre property with gardens, hiking trails, riding facilities, and more!

Camp Dates: 

June 24-28th, 9:00am-3:00pm

July 8-12th, 9:00am-12:00pm, Adaptive camp for riders with disabilities

July 15-19th, 9:00am-3:00pm

July 29- Aug 2nd, 9:00am-3:00pm

*After-camp care is available for an additional $20 per hour, per day, from 3pm until 5pm (must be scheduled in advance)

** Lunch is included for each day of camp provided by The Summit Store

Registration: 

Please email alex@nestldownridingcenter.org with any questions regarding our summer camps or to secure a spot! We require a non-refundable deposit of $100 to secure a spot in the camps, each is limited to 15 campers.

Costs: 

Weeklong Camp for current Nestldown Riding Center students: $500

Weeklong Camp for New students: $600

Adaptive Riding Camp: $250 (Deposit $50)

We are extremely excited to welcome our campers for a summer of fun and learning! We have many volunteers from the community who will be sharing their talents with the group, the schedule of activities is actively growing! Our main goal is to have FUN and build friendships with horses and each other!
